The New World Connecticut Robusto is the everyday size in the mild, Connecticut-wrapped side of AJ Fernandez’s New World line, made at the family’s Tabacalera Fernández in Estelí, Nicaragua.

It sets an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, at a mild to medium body. Expect a smooth, creamy profile of cedar, almond, white pepper, and a light, sweet hay. At 5 by 50, the robusto is a smooth, quick smoke.

The mild body suits a daytime break, with more flavor than the price suggests. A creamy, approachable Connecticut.
