Description

The New World Decenio Gordo is the thick, box-pressed size AJ Fernandez built to mark a decade of his acclaimed New World line.

It sets a dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan filler, at a medium to full body. Expect cocoa, espresso, black pepper, and a sweet, earthy depth. The wide box press keeps it cool over a long burn. At 6 by 58, the gordo gives a slow, rich smoke.

A fuller, more refined New World for unhurried evenings, made at the family’s Tabacalera Fernández in Estelí, Nicaragua, with the same honest value the line is known for. A big-ring, box-pressed Nicaraguan with real depth.
