Madroño is the thick, 58-ring gordo in Plasencia’s Alma del Campo, the soul of the field line. The Plasencia Alma del Campo Madroño wraps aged Nicaraguan long-filler in an oily Nicaraguan Habano leaf, at a medium body.

The wide ring keeps the smoke cool and even, with coffee, nuts, cedar, and a soft natural sweetness. At 6 1/2 by 58, it is built for a long, unhurried sit.
