Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf Gran Toro 6″ x 56

The Aganorsa Leaf Supreme Leaf Gran Toro is a Corojo-wrapped gordo from Aganorsa Leaf, the Nicaraguan grower and maker, handmade in Nicaragua. Aganorsa grows its own Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobacco.

It blends a Nicaraguan Corojo 99 wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a full body, leading with leather, red pepper, dry cedar, and a sweet, earthy core. At 6 by 56, it burns cool and even.

Corojo was Cuba’s wrapper leaf for most of the twentieth century, bred at the El Corojo farm in the Vuelta Abajo, until disease pushed Cuban growers onto hybrids in the 1990s. The original seed survived abroad.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or stout.
