Ashton does not own a factory. It is a Philadelphia brand built on Fuente tobacco and Fuente hands, and the Cabinet Selection is the line where that arrangement shows best.

A chestnut Connecticut Shade wrapper covers Dominican binder and filler aged five to seven years, mild to medium. Expect cream, almond, roasted coffee and light cocoa. At 5 1/2 by 50, the robusto stays smooth from light to finish.

The aging is the whole story here. Tobacco that sits that long loses its rough edges, and a mild cigar has nowhere to hide them.
