Description

Handmade in Nicaragua, the Highclere Castle Edwardian Robusto is a Connecticut-wrapped robusto from Foundation Cigar Co. Highclere Castle cigars are a partnership with the English estate famous as the setting of Downton Abbey, blended by Foundation Cigar Co.

It blends an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and Nicaraguan filler at a medium body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 5 by 50, it burns cool and even.

Shade grown leaf is kept under cover so it never toughens in full sun. Thin, pale and mild is the whole point, and it is why a Connecticut wrapper reads as cream and cedar rather than pepper.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
