Padron Damaso No. 12 is part of the round, limited-production Damaso series, introduced as a milder line and made with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper; the No. 12 is the 5 x 50 size in the core range.

The profile usually leans toward cedar, soft baking spice, and roasted nuts, with a little cocoa showing later rather than a heavy earth-first push. The line is officially described by Padron as mild to medium in flavor, and No. 12 has also been noted by Cigar Aficionado at 92 points in 2022.

At 5 x 50, this vitola keeps the format compact and straightforward, so the blend reads focused rather than stretched out. It fits well when a shorter session is the priority but the cigar still needs enough ring gauge to keep the smoke steady and rounded through the middle.
