Brick House Double Connecticut Robusto 5″ x 54

The wider 5 x 54 format gives this blend a rounder first impression right from the start. Brick House Double Connecticut Robusto is a Nicaraguan robusto built around Connecticut Shade wrapper, Connecticut Broadleaf binder, and Nicaraguan filler. This regular production line was introduced in 2017, and the robusto keeps the same double-Connecticut idea in a shorter, broader size.

The profile often leans creamy and woody at first, then settles into toast, light nuts, and a small pepper lift through the middle. Compared with the longer sizes, the robusto tends to feel more compact and direct, with the fuller ring gauge keeping the smoke texture a little thicker. The result is calm rather than sharp, with enough flavor to stay interesting without turning heavy.

It suits a first cigar of the day, and it also works well when time calls for a shorter format without moving into a slimmer ring gauge. This size fits smokers who like classic robustos and it also fits anyone curious about Connecticut shade cigars with a little more grounding from the broadleaf binder. It earns a place in the humidor when a shorter smoke with cream, toast, and wood makes the most sense.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
