The EP Carrillo Pledge Sojourn is a Connecticut-wrapped toro from Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s E.P. Carrillo, handmade in the Dominican Republic. Ernesto Perez-Carrillo built the brand after decades shaping modern premium cigars.

It blends a Connecticut Habano wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder and Nicaraguan filler at a full body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 6 by 52, it burns cool and even.

Habano on a band is an umbrella term. Corojo and Criollo are both Habano-family seeds, and a maker who writes Habano is usually declining to be more specific about which one.
