The Padron 1926 Serie No. 90 Tubo Maduro is a 5 1/2″ by 52 Nicaraguan cigar from the Serie 1926 line, which was introduced to commemorate José O. Padrón’s 75th birthday and uses tobacco aged five years. Unlike most Serie 1926 formats, the No. 90 is round rather than box-pressed and is packaged in an individual tube.

The Maduro version tends to lean into earth, cocoa, coffee, wood, and pepper, with a darker finish than the Natural version. Ranked No. 5 in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 Cigars of 2016.

Its tubed presentation gives the cigar a clean display format while the round 52-ring shape sets it apart from the more familiar pressed sizes in the 1926 Series.
