La Galera 1936 Box Pressed Pegador Corona Gorda 5 1/2″ x 46

The 1936 is La Galera’s box-pressed, Habano-wrapped line, and the Pegador is its corona gorda. The La Galera 1936 Box Pressed Pegador Corona Gorda sets an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Dominican binder and filler, box-pressed at a medium to full body.

The flavor usually leans toward cedar, coffee, earth, and a peppery sweetness. At 5 1/2 by 46, the box-pressed corona gorda gives an even, slower burn.

The medium to full body suits later in the day. It is sold as singles or boxes of 21, so one is an easy first taste. A box-pressed, Habano-wrapped Dominican.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
