From Ozgener Firsat, the Ozgener Firsat F54 is a Connecticut-wrapped churchill, handmade in the Dominican Republic. Ozgener Family Cigars was founded by Tim Ozgener, whose father Cano founded CAO Cigars.

It blends an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano binder and Nicaraguan filler at a medium body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 7 by 54, it burns cool and even.

Growers in Connecticut count a good season by cloud, not sun. Too much light thickens the leaf and darkens it, which is the opposite of what a shade wrapper is for.
