Description

Concepción is the toro of Plasencia’s Alma del Fuego, the soul of fire line. The Plasencia Alma del Fuego Concepción sets a Jalapa wrapper over Ometepe and Jalapa tobacco aged up to seven years, box-pressed at a medium to full body.

The flavor usually opens with espresso and roasted nuts, then moves toward leather, oak, and a peppery finish. At 6 by 54, the box-pressed toro gives a long, steady burn.

The medium to full body leans later in the day. It is sold as singles or boxes of 10, so a single is an easy way in. A fuller, woody Nicaraguan puro.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
