Description

The 6 x 60 gordo gives this blend a broader pace and puts more weight on its maduro character.

Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Gordo is the large-ring version of this Nicaraguan-made line, using the same Habana 2000 maduro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and filler. The line debuted in 2017, falls in the medium to full range, and was packaged in 20-count boxes at launch.

This blend often starts with sweet cedar and cocoa, then leans earthier with pepper, nuts, and a faint fruit note deeper into the smoke. The bigger format works well for a slower evening cigar and for shoppers who prefer a fuller profile in a 6 x 60 shape. It also fits anyone keeping a longer-session option on hand while staying within the Romeo y Julieta family.

An aged rum is a good match here, especially with the cocoa, sweet tobacco, and spice leaning profile.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
