Arturo Fuente Opus X Reserva d’Chateau is a 7 x 48 Churchill from the original Opus X line, the Dominican puro built around Fuente’s sun-grown Dominican wrapper tobacco from Chateau de la Fuente. Fuente lists this vitola in boxes of 32, and the length gives the blend a more measured pace than the shorter Opus formats.

The flavor usually begins with leather, wood, and spice, then opens into baking spice, nutmeg, earth, and a sweeter finish than the line’s reputation might suggest.
