La Flor Dominicana Salomon Unico 7″ x 64

The La Flor Dominicana Salomon Unico is a 7 x 64 salomon finished by hand in a wrapper design no other cigar shares. La Flor Dominicana, the Dominican house founded by Litto Gómez, unveiled it at the 2016 IPCPR trade show, and a single cigarmaker at the La Flor factory rolls them.

Each one starts as a curved salomon with a bulb toward the foot and a tapered head, over a Dominican binder and filler. The roller then cuts Candela, Maduro and Connecticut seed wrapper leaves into shapes and lays them on by hand: green from the Candela, dark brown to near black from the Maduro, and light tan from the Connecticut seed. Designs run from skulls and flames to barber poles and camouflage.

No two are alike. Each box of 10 holds ten different designs, and the inside lid carries a silhouette of Gómez in his trademark hat. The cigar you receive will have its own pattern, not the exact one in the photo.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or cognac.
