Opus X Society Gold & Bullet is the second cigar from The Opus X Society and the first release in The Society’s Chronicles. Arturo Fuente rolls the 6 3/4 x 50 cigar in the Dominican Republic, with production limited to 1,500 numbered boxes of 12. The blend remains undisclosed, and we have not smoked it yet. This page covers confirmed specifications, preorder availability, and collector context rather than presenting an untested review.

What is confirmed and what remains undisclosed

The confirmed cigar specifications are limited but useful: a 6 3/4 x 50 format, 12 cigars per box, 1,500 numbered boxes for worldwide distribution, and production by Arturo Fuente in the Dominican Republic. The presentation includes gold foil sleeves, ornate bands, black foot covers, and a gold world map inside the lid.

The wrapper, binder, filler, strength, and intended tasting profile have not been announced. We will not assign tobacco details or flavor notes until they are confirmed or we can report them from an actual smoking experience.

How it compares with the first Society cigar

The first Opus X Society cigar is a 6 1/4 x 49 presented in a 20-count humidor. Gold & Bullet is slightly longer and wider, changes the presentation to a numbered 12-count box, and begins The Society’s Chronicles series. We have handled both presentations, but we have not smoked Gold & Bullet, so this is a format and packaging comparison rather than a flavor comparison.

Both belong within the broader Arturo Fuente Opus X collection, but Gold & Bullet should be treated as its own limited Society release rather than assumed to use the standard Opus X blend.

The Gold & Bullet theme and Elie Bleu accessories

Manny Iriarte describes gold as the success people pursue and the bullet as the uncertainty that can interrupt it. The contrast carries through the box artwork and the separate accessory release.

The matching Elie Bleu set includes a J-12 flat flame lighter and a C-5 V cutter. Only 155 numbered sets are planned, and the lighter and cutter are sold separately from the cigars. Buying a box does not include the accessories.

Price, preorder availability, and how to buy

We’re accepting preorders at $150 for a single or $1,800 for a box of 12. A preorder reserves the cigar before it arrives, and release timing can change. The Opus X Society Gold & Bullet preorder page has the latest purchasing information.

You can also call the shop at (754) 309-9674 or visit Cigar Grail at 2216 E Oakland Park Blvd in Fort Lauderdale if you want to discuss the release before ordering.

Who should consider buying it

The strongest case is for an Opus X collector, someone following the Society releases, or a buyer who values the numbered presentation. If your main concern is flavor or smoking value, waiting for a first-hand review is the more informed choice. The blend is undisclosed, and rarity alone cannot tell you how the cigar will smoke.

Our review status

We have not smoked Gold & Bullet yet. When we do, we will update this page with the sample source, storage and acclimation, smoking conditions, construction, flavor progression, perceived strength, and value. Until then, we will keep confirmed specifications separate from expectations.
