Angelenos is a Fuente-made cigar that does not carry the Fuente name or the Fuente price. Same factory, same rollers, a milder everyday blend.

An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper covers Dominican binder and filler, mild to medium. Expect cream, cedar, almond and a light coffee sweetness, easy from the first third on. At 5 1/2 by 54, the robusto gordo widens the ring, which keeps the smoke cool and pushes the creamy side forward.

A fair introduction to what Tabacalera Fuente does with a shade wrapper, without committing to a box of the marquee lines. Good morning cigar and an easy hand-around.
