Description

Warm creaminess and toasted cedar set a relaxed tone, with a mild spice edge that stays in check. Ashton Classic Churchill is a 7 1/2 x 52 cigar handmade in the Dominican Republic in a traditional long-format Churchill shape. A U.S. Connecticut Shade wrapper surrounds Dominican binder and filler tobaccos that are commonly described as aged three to four years.

This blend tends to lean smooth and woody at the start, then shifts toward toasted nuts and light coffee as it opens up. The profile often moves to drier cedar and a touch of white pepper near the finish, keeping the character gentle rather than heavy.

The Churchill format suits longer, unhurried sessions when a mild cigar makes more sense than a stronger smoke. It fits well for newer smokers looking for a classic Connecticut Shade style, and it also works as a palate-reset option between richer blends. A steady pace keeps the cream up front, and this is an easy one to keep in regular rotation.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or champagne.
