Description

Belgian Blue is named after the cattle breed, and the blend is built to match it: 75 percent ligero, the thickest and slowest burning leaf on the plant, picked for texture rather than raw power. Crowned Heads brought it back for 2025 in a new 5 1/2 by 56 box press.

A dark Mexican San Andrés wrapper over an Ecuadorian binder with Nicaraguan and Dominican filler, full bodied, giving cocoa, espresso, black pepper and a sweet dark earth. Rolled at Tabacalera Pichardo’s D’Hatuey factory in Estelí.

San Andrés turns up on so many Nicaraguan and Dominican cigars because it does one job better than any local leaf: it takes a maduro fermentation without breaking, and it comes out tasting of chocolate rather than char.

Two thousand five hundred boxes worldwide, twelve cigars each. Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or stout.
