Davidoff Escurio 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Gran Toro 6″ * 56

Released in 2025 to mark a decade since the original Escurio launch, the 10th Anniversary Limited Edition takes Davidoff’s Brazilian-tobacco-forward blend and rebuilds it around heavily aged leaf and a bourbon-cask twist.

The cigar comes in a single 6 by 56 Gran Toro vitola, hand-rolled at Davidoff’s TABADOM facility in the Dominican Republic. The blend pairs a four-year-aged Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a nine-year-aged Brazilian binder over a long-filler combining a nine-year-old Brazilian leaf, an eight-year-old Dominican leaf, and three additional five-year-old Dominican leaves, one of which is finished with six months in spent bourbon casks. Production is capped at 15,700 boxes of 12 worldwide, with 3,750 boxes allocated to the U.S. market. Body sits at medium-to-full.

The flavor tends to lean toward creamy cappuccino, vanilla bean, and toasted almond at the start, with leather, dried apricot, and licorice running through the middle before a finish that brings in dark chocolate, oak, and a soft bourbon-driven honey note. The Brazilian binder and filler push the spicier and sweeter sides of the blend forward, while the cask-aged Dominican leaf carries the deeper sweetness through the second half of the burn.

Pairs well with espresso, cachaca, or aged rum.
