La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse Regency 5 1/2″ * 50

The Regency is the shortest format in the reblended La Aroma de Cuba Noblesse line, which Ashton brought back as a regular production release in mid-2024 after several years off the market.

The cigar pairs a Mexican San Andrés Oscuro wrapper with Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan long-filler grown on Garcia family farms in Estelí, Jalapa, and Namanji. Every leaf goes through a triple fermentation, and the filler is rolled in the entubado method and finished with a Cuban-style triple cap at My Father Cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Regency measures 5 1/2 by 50 in a soft box-press, ships in boxes of 24, and sits at the full end of the body scale.

The flavor tends to lean toward dark chocolate, espresso, and dried fig up front, with leather and earth filling in through the middle before a finish of black pepper and a saline edge. Rated 92 by Cigar Aficionado in 2024. The soft press and shorter length keep the burn time tighter than the toro and churchill formats in the line while preserving the wrapper-forward character of the blend. The Regency works as a mid-length evening session.
