Description

Sized for a short break, the Coronets bring the Liga Undercrown Maduro blend into a slim cigarillo format.

The line was developed in 2011 by the torcedores at Drew Estate around tobaccos related to Liga Privada drawn from different primings and vintages. The Maduro recipe pairs a Mexican San Andrés Otapan Negro Último Corte wrapper with a Connecticut River Valley stalk-cut T52 Habano binder over a long-filler of Brazilian Mata Fina and Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobacco, hand-rolled at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua. The Coronets measure 4 by 32 and ship in 10-count tins, each tin holding a small Boveda humidity pack inside.

Body sits at medium-to-full. The narrow ring gauge keeps the wrapper character forward, with the flavor leaning toward dark chocolate, earth, and black pepper before settling into espresso and a soft natural sweetness. Each cigar runs a 20 to 30 minute smoke time, fitting a quick break rather than a longer session.
