NUb Connecticut 460 4″ x 60

From Nub by Oliva, the NUb Connecticut 460 is a Connecticut-wrapped gordo, handmade in Nicaragua.

It blends an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a mild to medium body, leading with cream, cedar, blanched almond, and a gentle white-pepper snap. At 4 by 60, the wide ring gives the smoke room to cool before it reaches you, so it smokes rounder than a slimmer size of the same blend.

Shade grown leaf is kept under cover so it never toughens in full sun. Thin, pale and mild is the whole point, and it is why a Connecticut wrapper reads as cream and cedar rather than pepper.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or amber ale.
