The Connecticut Shade is the mild, pale-wrapped side of Drew Estate’s Undercrown, and the Gran Toro is a thicker size. The Liga Undercrown Connecticut Shade Gran Toro sets an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Sumatra binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, at a medium body.

The flavor usually stays smooth, with cedar, cream, almond, and a light sweetness. At 6 by 52, the gran toro gives an even, easygoing burn.
