Description

Handmade in Nicaragua, the Plasencia Alma del Campo Tribu is a Nicaraguan-wrapped robusto from the Plasencia family. The Plasencia family has grown tobacco for generations.

It blends a Nicaraguan wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler at a medium body, leading with cocoa, cedar, roasted coffee, and black pepper over a sweet, earthy base. At 5 by 52, it burns cool and even.

Nicaragua grows on volcanic soil, and the valleys each read differently: Esteli for strength, Jalapa for sweetness, Condega in between. Most Nicaraguan blends are built by mixing them.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or aged rum.
