Coffee sits at the center of this short Toscano without covering up the fire-cured tobacco underneath.

Toscanello Caffe is a flavored ammezzato from Manifatture Sigaro Toscano, introduced in 2003 and made in the Cava de’ Tirreni factory. It uses Italian and foreign Kentucky tobacco with an Italian Kentucky wrapper, and the line was built around a softer, balanced base so the coffee aroma stays clear instead of turning harsh.

The flavor usually starts with roasted coffee and light sweetness, then moves toward smoky wood, spice, and a faint nutty edge. Because the blend leans on middle-position leaves, the smoke tends to stay gentler and rounder than the longer natural Toscano formats while still keeping that dry, dark-fired character in place.

At 3 x 38, it stays quick and compact, with enough body to feel like a cigar rather than a flavored mini. It fits best when the goal is a shorter smoke with a distinct coffee profile and the usual Toscano structure still visible underneath.

Pairs well with espresso, coffee, or grappa.
