Description

Angel’s Share takes its name from the distillers’ term for the spirit that evaporates from a barrel as it ages. Like every Opus X, it is a Dominican puro, wrapper included.

The difference is where the wrapper grows on the plant. Angel’s Share uses leaf from the middle primings, where the core Opus X uses the top, for a slightly gentler, sweeter smoke at a medium to full body. Cigar Insider rated this 6 1/4 by 48 toro 92 points in 2024, with ginger, clove, cinnamon, light chocolate and raisin, and a gingersnap finish.

Rolled by the Fuente family at Tabacalera A. Fuente in the Dominican Republic, and packed in boxes of 32.

Pairs well with cognac, espresso, or port.
