Arturo Fuente Opus X Big B 6″ x 74

Heaven and Earth is the small run of aged, vintage Opus X blends Fuente releases only twice a year, in spring and fall, and it is the hardest corner of an already scarce line to reach.

The Big B is a 6 by 74 perfecto with a flat cap. It is named for Barry Herbst, whose company BLH Industries makes the cigar molds Fuente relies on for its many Opus X shapes. It first appeared in 2013, when only 500 were sold and each one came inside a 23 cigar collection. Fuente has never published the blend. It is full in body, and a cigar this thick asks for a slow pace, well over an hour and a half.

Six cigars come in a limited edition Macassar ebony travel humidor made by Prometheus, with a portion of every sale going to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, which supports children in the Bonao region of the Dominican Republic.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or stout.
