Description

The Gran Habano Persian King Maduro Tiger is a San Andrés-wrapped gordo from Gran Habano, handmade in Honduras.

It blends a Mexican San Andrés wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan and Costa Rican filler at a full body, leading with cocoa, espresso, black pepper, and a sweet, almost-syrupy dark earth. At 6 by 60, the thick ring keeps the smoke cool and rounded over a long burn.

A Mexican wrapper on a Nicaraguan cigar is a deliberate contrast. The filler brings pepper and strength, the San Andres brings cocoa and calm, and the two together are most of what people mean by a balanced maduro.
