Description

Suave is where La Flor Dominicana began. When Litto and Ines Gómez started the company in 1994, their first blend was a mild Dominican cigar in a Connecticut shade wrapper. In 2025 they reblended it from the ground up and kept the original sizes and names.

The Gobernador is the big ring of the Suave Natural, a 6 1/4 by 60 gordo. The new blend trades the old Connecticut wrapper for Ecuadorian Corojo over a Mexican San Andrés binder, with Dominican filler. La Flor calls it a full flavor, mild to medium bodied blend. Reviewers of the Suave Natural found cream, cedar, honey and nuts, with earth and pepper building later on.

Made at La Flor Dominicana’s factory in Tamboril, in the Dominican Republic. An easygoing way into a house known for power.

Pairs well with coffee, amber ale, or rum.
