Amanecer is the hexagonal-pressed gordo in Plasencia’s Alma del Cielo, the soul of the sky line. The Plasencia Alma del Cielo Hexagono Amanecer is a Nicaraguan puro whose filler is grown at around 3,500 feet, under a Jalapa wrapper, at a medium body.

The high-elevation filler gives a softer, sweeter profile, with marzipan, honey, nougat, and a touch of orange zest. At 6 by 60, the hexagonal press gives a distinctive feel and a slow burn.

The medium body makes it workable across the day. It is sold as singles or boxes of 10, so one is an easy first taste of the hexagonal size. A smooth, high-altitude Nicaraguan puro.
