Description

Robustus II is the round size in Plasencia’s Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro, a change from the line’s box-pressed shapes. The Plasencia Alma Fuerte Colorado Claro Robustus II is a Nicaraguan puro under a Jalapa wrapper aged ten years, from the family’s own farms, at a medium body.

The flavor usually moves toward cedar, almond, light coffee, and a peppery, nutty finish. It placed No. 4 in halfwheel’s Top 25 Cigars of 2024. At 5 1/8 by 55, the round robusto burns evenly and slow.

The medium body suits most times of day rather than only the evening. It is sold as singles or boxes of 10, so a single is an easy way to try the size that placed. A round, recently recognized Alma Fuerte.

Pairs well with coffee, bourbon, or amber ale.

A delicious nutty and caramel smoke! Plasencia does a phenomenal job of keeping their sizes in this Claro line tasting exactly the same. A huge fan of how smooth this cigar starts and begins to pick up bit by bit. Recommend this to everybody wanting to try this line without committing to the toro or Gordo size.
