Plasencia Alma Fuerte Generacion V Salomon is the most recognizable shape in the line and one of the strongest known expressions of the blend. It is part of the Alma Fuerte series, a Nicaraguan puro made with aged tobaccos from Plasencia farms, using a Jalapa wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Condega, Estelí, Jalapa, and Ometepe. Cigar Aficionado ranked the Generacion V No. 9 in its Top 25 Cigars of 2017.

At 7 x 58, the Salomon format changes the pacing and gives the cigar a more gradual build from the opening foot into the wider body. The profile often starts with dark chocolate, oak, and earth, then tends to move toward coffee, molasses, plum, and cinnamon with a heavier finish.
