The Double Gordo is the thick 60-ring size in Quorum’s dark Maduro blend. Made by J.C. Newman in Nicaragua, the Quorum Maduro Double Gordo sets a dark maduro wrapper over Nicaraguan filler, at a medium body. Quorum is the value bundle line of J.C. Newman, America’s oldest family-owned cigar company, founded in 1895.

The flavor usually stays dark and smooth, with cocoa, coffee, and a soft sweetness, kept cool by the wide ring. At 6 by 60, the gordo gives a long, slow burn.
