Chocolate gives this short Toscanello a darker aromatic direction than the coffee and vanilla versions.

Toscanello Cioccolato is a flavored ammezzato introduced in 2008, made in Cava de’ Tirreni, and built on the same fire-cured Kentucky base that defines the brand. The filler uses Italian and foreign Kentucky tobacco, and the line was created to bring a cocoa-focused aroma into a compact Toscano format without changing the underlying dry-cured identity.

The profile often opens with cocoa, roast, and a little bitterness, then settles into smoky wood and a modest spice note. The chocolate side tends to read closer to dark cocoa than candy sweetness, so the cigar stays more earthy and toasted than creamy or soft.

Because it is only 3 x 38, the smoke stays concentrated and straightforward, with the aroma leading early and the tobacco showing more clearly as it burns. It works best when a shorter smoke is the priority but the cigar still needs a firmer, darker flavored profile.

Pairs well with espresso, coffee, or grappa.
