Foundation Aksum Maduro
Foundation Aksum Maduro is the darker side of Nick Melillo’s Aksum, made in Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez for Foundation Cigar Company. A dark, oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper covers a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan filler from Estelí and Jalapa. The box pressed cigars are medium to full, with espresso, leather, cocoa, cedar and black pepper. Cigar Grail carries the 5 x 50 Robusto and the 6 x 52 Toro.
