Description

The Joya de Nicaragua Cuatro Cinco Petite Corona is a Nicaraguan Jalapa-wrapped petit corona from Joya de Nicaragua, the country’s oldest cigar maker, handmade in Nicaragua. Joya de Nicaragua has rolled cigars in Estelí since 1968.

It blends a Nicaraguan Jalapa wrapper over a Nicaraguan and Dominican binder and Nicaraguan filler at a full body, leading with cocoa, cedar, roasted coffee, and black pepper over a sweet, earthy base. At 4 1/2 by 46, it burns cool and even.

Nicaragua grows on volcanic soil, and the valleys each read differently: Esteli for strength, Jalapa for sweetness, Condega in between. Most Nicaraguan blends are built by mixing them.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
