Montecristo White Rothchilde 5″ x 52

Cream, cedar, and a light spice frame this blend from the first few draws. Montecristo White Rothchilde is a 5 x 52 cigar from the Dominican Republic made with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan filler. The White Series was introduced in 2003 as a fuller alternative to the milder Montecristo Classic line.

The profile usually begins with sweet cream, toast, and nuts, then moves toward cedar, coffee, and a soft pepper edge. In this shorter 5 x 52 format, the blend tends to feel a little more direct than the longer sizes, with the creamy side staying in front while the spice and wood fill in behind it. The result stays easygoing but not flat.

It suits an earlier-day smoke, and it also works well when a medium-paced robusto-sized cigar makes more sense than a longer session. This size fits smokers who like Connecticut shade cigars with more body under the wrapper, and it also makes sense for shoppers looking for a Montecristo White that stays compact and steady. It is a useful one to keep on hand when cream, cedar, and a little spice sound right.

Pairs well with coffee, cream ale, or champagne.
