Description

The New World Oscuro Redondo is the round member of AJ Fernandez’s New World Oscuro family, made at the family’s Tabacalera Fernández in Estelí, Nicaragua.

It sets a dark Nicaraguan wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, at a medium to full body. Expect espresso, dark chocolate, black pepper, and a sweet, earthy finish. At 6 1/2 by 55, the round toro gordo burns cool and even.

A darker, fuller New World in a rounded format, at the line’s familiar value. A dependable everyday Nicaraguan with real depth.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
