New World Oscuro is AJ Fernandez’s medium-full Nicaraguan cigar line, built with a dark Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapper, Jalapa binder, and Nicaraguan filler. Box-pressed Navegante Robusto, Gobernador Toro, Redondo, and 6 by 58 Virrey Gordo formats all use substantial 55 to 58 ring gauges. Expect cedar, espresso, dark chocolate, black pepper, earth, leather, and natural sweetness, with the wider Virrey offering a cooler, more rounded presentation.
