Description

The New World Oscuro Navegante is the box-pressed, oscuro-wrapped robusto in AJ Fernandez’s New World line, made at the family’s Tabacalera Fernández in Estelí, Nicaragua.

It sets a dark Nicaraguan oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan Jalapa binder and Nicaraguan filler, at a medium to full body. Expect espresso, dark chocolate, black pepper, and a sweet, earthy finish. At 5 1/2 by 55, the box-pressed robusto packs the dark flavor into a shorter, thicker format.

A darker, fuller New World for evenings, at the same honest value. A box-pressed Nicaraguan with real depth.

Pairs well with bourbon, espresso, or porter.
